WE ARE so thankful for the moisture

Once again this winter Kanab has received 10 inches of very wet snow! This will really help the dry land we have around here. The world was very pretty and white when I woke up this morning, and it wet and muddy this evening. It was so nice to be able to be in a warm home and look outside to see the snow, knowing I didn't need to go out and be in the weather. I'm grateful for the much needed moisture we have been blessed with.

It has got a quick start!

Here is a picture of Uncle Frank and Don... we visited some family. We also got to visit with Troy's family and Cory and his family, along with their foreign exchange student, Monica, from Puebla, Mexico.

we worked on putting together a large (29X36) puzzle on the Zinn's pool table, which is a Christmas tradition. Marcy had to finish it, after we worked on it for a week.

Becky and Jason wanted to make a Gingerbread House.... So we did! They enjoyed eating it after Christmas too! It was a fun reminder of what the Vances use to do when Marcy, Danette and Cory were little. Our Christmas was a fun and enjoyable time. We also exerienced some 14 degree below zero temperature on Christmas morning. COOOLLDDD Temperatures. Now I'm saying...'I'm glad we live in a warmer country.'

I did it ... I stayed up to hear the canon go off at midnight here in Kanab. Mom and Don were in bed, snoring at midnight! SOOOO Here it is a New Year! it seemed to come on the run! May you all have a good and properous New Year... it might not be monetary, but full of many eternal blessings.
